Take brushing your teeth, for example. I usually brush quickly and get the whole thing over and done with in a minute. The result? Cavities! The same goes for taking care of your skin, hair, nails, feet, etc.
While you're brushing your teeth, try to remind yourself of why you're doing this. What is the purpose of this activity to you? How much more could you do if you spend an extra minute or two? Maybe you could floss?I can't stress the importance of taking care of yourself strong enough.Being the best you can be is not only a gift to yourself, but also for the people around you.
When you're doing a quick, daily activity, take an extra minute to do it extra well. Even if you only do this every once in a while.
